Television personality, Martha Stewart, says Donald Trump is unprepared for the U.S. Presidency.
Donald Trump and Martha Stewart are former business partners who have been photographed together at multiple events. Trump was one of the more prominent supporters of Stewart when she ran into highly publicized legal troubles. He also allowed her to use the apprentice in her spin-off show title, The Apprentice Martha Stewart.
Martha Stewart, in an interview with CNNMoney, did not reciprocate her support of Trump.
“There is so much to know and so much to learn and so much diplomacy and kindness and introspection that goes with that kind of job,” said Stewart. “And it does not exist in the world of Donald Trump.”
Stewart did not officially endorse Hillary Clinton either but did make it clear that she will vote Democrat in this election.
“We have to be very certain that we elect a person who has experience, knowledge, a base of education in the world of world politics as well as domestic politics and so obviously I’m voting for Hillary Clinton,” said Stewart. “And we just can’t have a country run by someone who is totally unprepared for what comes.”
Other prominent women to chastise Trump include Jill Soloway, the creator of Transparent.
“He’s a complete dangerous monster, and any moment I have to call Trump out to being an inheritor to Hitler, I will,” commented Soloway.
“Our show starting out as a political satire but it now feels more like a sobering documentary,” remarked VEEP star, Julia Louis Dreyfus.
